14-Year-Old Dalit Girl Sensational Killing, Raped Before Being Killed

Lucknow: Shahjahenpur was rocked with sensational killing of a 14-year-old Dalit girl, who was also reportedly raped before being killed. The girl went missing on Tuesday morning and her body was recovered on Wednesday morning. A case was registered in this regard by the police and the body was sent for post-mortem examination. Reports said that a girl hailing from Ahmednagar locality of Roza in Shahjahenpur, went to work in the fields on Tuesday as her school was closed. She was a student of class 8th. In the afternoon, her parents suspected foulplay when they found their daughter missing from the field. They launched a search and also informed the residents but after their efforts failed, they informed the incident to the local police and lodged a Rs missing’ report.

Reports further said that the residents found the body of the girl lying in the nearby sugarcane field, in the wee hours of Wednesday. The girl was nude and killed with some sharp edged weapon. The circumstantial evidences suggested that the girl was raped before being murdered as the cops found teeth bite marks near her private parts. Her clothes were also missing which showed that she was raped and killed somewhere else and later sometime in the night, her body was dumped to conceal the crime. Empty pouches of alcohol were also found near the body which showed that the accused had a liquor party after dumping the body and they later fled from the spot.  The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and efforts were made to trace out the accused and to lay a trap on them.
