Bike Rally to pay tribute to SIR GANGA RAM ON HIS 94th DEATH ANNIVERSARY
An event of Bike Rally was organized on Saturday, 10th July 2021 in connection with 94th death anniversary of great philanthropist Sir Ganga Ram. The event was organized by Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation (SGRHF) in collaboration with Evacuee Property Trust Board (ETPB) Lahore. The rally was led by international Bike Tourist and Interfaith Harmony Eco-Activist Mr. Salman Hameed Khokhar, Chairman Road Safety Environment Association. The participants of bike rally gathered at recently renovated Samadhi of Ganga Ram at Ravi Road Lahore. President, Minority Advisory Council Punjab, Mrs Jacqueline Tressler was the chief guest of the ceremony, while Director Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation (SGRHF) Mr. Shaheen Hassan, Presidential Awarded Scout Leader, columnist, author and traveler Maqsood Ahmed Chughtai, Adil Lahori, Members of Bikers Association Pakistan Iqbal Mughal, Mirza Usman, Ashfaq Mughal, Shaban Younas and other admirers of Sir Ganga Ram were also present on the occasion. Beautiful banners were displayed by Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation (SGRHF) and Evacuee Property Trust Board (ETPB) Lahore on the entrance and surroundings of Samadhi saying welcome to the guests and paying tribute to Sir Ganga Ram on his death anniversary.
After the graceful tribute to Sir Ganga Ram, flowers were laid at the Samadhi by the participants. After that, the convoy of Bikers started their journey from Samadhi of Sir Ganga Ram to Ganga Ram Hospital. On their way the rally participants visits GC University, Halley College of Banking & Commerce, General Post Office, Municipality Office and other renowned buildings as well. The Rally ends at famous Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for which he also donated his land in Mozang area of Lahore. The entire event was duly covered by national media including Express TV and other web channels. The event ends with refreshments.
