Dalit, minorities demand equal share in budget allocation

New Delhi: Citing unequal allocation of money to the poor, organizations working for SC/STs, backward classes and minorities said they will create a joint platform to ‘push the government from plundering money dedicated to the poor section of the society.

National Confederation of Dalit Adivasi Organisations (NACDAOR), along with OBC Mukti Morchha, Ekalavya Sangathan and other grassroot organisations had organised a seminar here on Saturday.

The organisations said a joint platform will be created to fight against inequalities meted out to the marginalised section in the society.

“Fundamentally this whole budget is plundering money set apart for the SC/ST, OBC and minority section of the society.

We are planning to create political platform and secretariat, which will be a movement of grass root leaders comprising Dalit, Adivasi, backward class and minorities.
