HJC-HJCP to have 20 seats each for brahmins, dalits, BCs

dalit-watch-Sep-14-23CHANDIGARH: Alliance partners Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) and Haryana Jan Chetna Party (HJCP) have decided to give 20 seats each to candidates belonging to Brahmin and Dalit communities and backward classes. “Rest of the 30 seats would be given to other sections of society,” said alliance leaders KuldeepBishnoi and Venod Sharma on Monday.

“We (BSP, HJC and HJCP) are like-minded parties, and we should ensure ouster of those forces that ignore Dalits and backward classes,” they said adding to an earlier statement of BSP’s chief ministerial candidate Arvind Sharma.
